Fire and smoke damage can be extremely stressful to homeowners. With good intentions many people inadvertently cause even greater damage to their clothing not realizing special handling and processes are essential to restoring garments to pre-fire condition. In difficult times such as these, saving your wardrobe is our specialty.
Tripp’s Fine Cleaners is proud to be Columbia’s only Certified Master Drycleaner, and the International Fabricare Institute’s only Certified Professional Drycleaner in the Midlands. That means your clothing will benefit from our extensive knowledge of garment cleaning and restoration.
We will treat your home and belongings as if they were our own. We will strive to keep you informed through all phases of the process. Tripp’s Fine Cleaners’ goal is to keep you informed so you feel confident in our company and the services we provide on your behalf.
Working with your insurance company, we begin by compiling a comprehensive inventory of damaged clothing and fabric articles. We clean the items, store them until you are ready for them and then we return the items to their original location. It's that easy, and that convenient for you. All billing will be processed between Tripp’s Fine Cleaners and the insurance company.
 What
you can expect:
- Your garments are picked up and taken to our processing
plant for deodorization and cleaning. You will be given
a copy of an itemized inventory. Once your items are inventoried
at our facility, this inventory will be mailed to you.
- You may wish to set aside a priority order of clothing
that will be returned to you as quickly as possible.
- When the remainder of your order has been completed,
we will call you and set up delivery arrangements. The total
process for an average size order takes about two to three
weeks to complete. Tripp’s will store your garments
until you are ready.
- Many times you need to clean and store clothing during
the restoration process. Tripp’s will pack your items,
clean them at our facility repack them until you need them
back (for up to a year). Our storage facility is secure
and climate controlled so there will be no compromise to
your belongings.

for garments that remain damaged after the cleaning process.
This policy guarantees that your insurance company
will not receive a cleaning bill and a replacement claim for
the same garment.
